Fantasy Items in an otherwise realistic capsule?

I'm curious how others might reconcile the 'outliers' in your closet that you absolutely LOVE.

Example: my capsule is black, white, olive, warm grey, and pops of peach. It's a mix of athletic wear and 'casual fancy' clothes (silk mini dress, gauzy maxi, silk pirate blouse, etc). I'm eyeballing a Selkie dress in neutral that fits my capsule but it would definitely be an exception... I only wear an evening dress 3-4x/year.

Thoughts? Feelings? Strong opinions in either direction?
