You've just acquired an engineless, derelict '67 or '68 Ford Mustang, base model notchback coupe, for ridiculously cheap. Sitting in your garage you've got three rebuildable engine cores- a 302 Windsor small block, a 351 Cleveland, and a 390FE. Which one of those 3 options do you choose, and why?

What would be the pros and cons of each? Me personally, I'd either go with the 302 for its light weight and massive aftermarket parts availability, or the 390 for its monster torque ( after putting it on an aluminum diet ).
