RIVERSIDE HOTEL - be careful as their reservation system has a data security breach
Background - early in my planning for Feb ‘25 cruise - I booked a reservation with Riverside Hotel for the night before the cruise. I since secured a reservation with an Airbnb and cancelled my Riverside Hotel reservation.
In cleaning up my SPAM folder (gmail) I just found a scammer / fake “confirm your reservation” link to who knows what …
So my email address / check-in date / check-out date with Riverside is all accurate & Sunday is approx 4+ weeks before the originally planned check-in date.
The funny part is that I cancelled the reservation back in August ….
I’m guessing whomever is behind this sits and waits until 4+ weeks before check-in and sends this FAKE scammer crud
BE CAREFUL if you book with Riverside Hotel
I couldn’t figure out what Sub to post this to (please give me suggestions) - not at all Celebrity related - BUT a lot of cruisers use Riverside Hotel
Yes I will be reaching out to Riverside Hotel - will most likely take me some time to get to their backend IT peeps
