CMV: Eat the rich is toxic

Starting with Jean-Jacques Rousseau during french revolution where people were living under aristocracy. The people had no power or independence because of their rulers. The statement was in simple terms, if we starve at your order we will eat you.

Today my view is that the phrase is anti-capitalist extremism. America is one of the few places where almost everyone has the ability to build their own wealth. I don’t think that should be villianized. I think it’s something to be proud of. Some people will misuse or hoard or harm with it, but isn’t that true with almost anything?
