Installing Chinese apps on an US phone

Hi,

I got a OnePlus 12 from BestBuy. It has Google Play which doesn't have many Chinese apps. When you buy a phone in China it comes with some kind of brand specific app store that one can install local apps. But even though the OnePlus I got is technically a Chinese brand, I got it in the US.

I wonder what's the best way to do it on a US phone. I really prefer to download and install apps from a app store I can trust rather than directly downloading the .apk files.
