Snoring baby - Concert etiquette question

Hi all! Fellow lover of classical music here. Would love to know what you would do in this situation:

I went to Carnegie hall with some friends tonight to see a solo piano performance. I guess during intermission, the toddler (~2 year old?) behind us sitting on his mothers lap fell asleep, and started snoring pretty loudly. The mother remained in her seat the entire second act, holding her snoring child.

My friends and I were pretty annoyed because the snoring was loud enough that it was really distracting, but decided not to get up and say anything because we didn’t want to create anymore disturbances… but I’m curious what you would do? Or maybe would could I have done?
