Recomendations for literature that describes nature?

I’ve recently read the cossacks by tolstoy, and quiet flows the don by sholokhov. I love hiking and being surrounded by nature and am usually my happiest when I am near greenery.

Does anyone have any recommendations for books that are written similarly to these books/have similar descriptions of nature?

PS: I have also read the hobbit and lord of the rings and this isn’t really as good imo for descriptions of nature, somehow it seems a tad boring when compared to the other works highlighted.
