Could anyone ELI5 how a quartz clock movement moves the minute/hour hands?

Hopefully okay to ask here — I know Google is free but I feel like I’m missing some super obvious concept. The movement is in a little plastic case with the hour hand affixed below the minute hand. I get that it’s pretty much just a motor, but how does it rotate the minute hand differently than the hour hand?
