My NYE party menu
Came up with this last minute for our small NYE party. All the drinks were super well received and the ‘Love is a Rose’ was the most popular. All the drinks were pre-batched and I used lime super juice. Also, yes, some of these are just slight variations of other drinks ;)
Recipes:
Plastic passion (Re-spec of a Demerara dry float)
2oz rum .5oz lime .5oz lemon .5oz passionfruit .25oz maraschino .25oz simple Either build in highball glass, add crushed ice, swizzle Or flash blend with crushed ice/sonic ice Garnish with mint, optionally float 151 rum
Heaven or Las Vegas (Just a margarita with a different sweetener)
2oz tequila .75oz lime .5oz raspberry ginger syrup .5oz curaçao Shake and pour into lowball glass with ice Garnish with raspberry on skewer
Rhinestone cowboy (My version of a Hemingway daiquiri)
1oz white rum 1oz agricole .5oz lime .5oz grapefruit .25oz maraschino .25oz rich simple syrup Pinch of li hing Shake and coupe Garnish with a tiny sprinkle of li hing and gold glitter to float on top

2oz gin .5oz lime .5oz honey syrup .25oz rose water Shake coupe Orange peel squeeze Garnish with dehydrated lime wheel
Dance in the water
.5oz strawberry balsamic gastrique (from death&co book) .25oz lemon 2 dash eucalyptus bitters Build in highball glass, add ice, fill to top with topo Chico Garnish with strawberry slice This one is ridiculously good as mocktail, but can be made into a cocktail by adding vodka and increasing the strawberry balsamic and lemon slightly
