My laptop is slow

I don't if it's the right subreddit but I actually I don't who or where I can ask this. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad with windows 10 home (I think) as os. The computer has 14/15 months and since I bought it was very slow and now it's getting worse. I have 1000gb memory available and just 300gb prob are occupied, so basically more than half is available. I don't have many apps installed because if I have two or more apps open it gets slower and slower. Lately every time I switch it on it takes me up to 30 minutes (even more) before I can actually use it but its still very slowly and it get blocks too often. I don't know what to do. Every time I turn it on there are updates for I don't know what. I don't want to change to windows 11 because it might get slower than it is rn but I don't how to solve this problem. Anyone has any suggestions on what to do?
