Growing veg in north facing balcony?

I am wanting to start a garden on my apartment balcony and was most excited to grow peppers. I unfortunately have a North facing balcony, and looking at a sun tracker I estimate I will get at most 4-5 hours of sunlight during June. I am very new to all of this but as far as I know peppers and a lot of fruiting plants need more direct sunlight than this. Would there be any workaround to be able to grow peppers and other fruiting plants, I am unsure about outdoor grow lights or like what would be the best work around, or if it is better to spend my time on leafy greens and plants that do better in shade. I am new to gardening so sorry if I am wrong or sound ignorant, also feel free to share some plants to grow that do well in shade!
