Seriously, can we move on from posting shopping lists and other sprees? So lame

Edit: I didn’t mean to spoil anyone’s excitement and I apologize if you felt that way. And I agree that posting your collection can be a way of starting a discussion and highlighting films you like.

However, posting $600 of purchases just seems like a dickmeasuring contest and it’s not that interesting. I thought this sub would be more about features people discovered and interesting commentary and cool details and stuff like that. Criterion seems more like an appreciation of great films rather than patrons showing off idk. Also this got a lot of upvotes so I don’t think I’m the only one. Norman Rockwell guy standing and all that.
