Advice needed on which Blue-Ray player to buy

Hey folks, I live in Australia and finally got my hands on my favourite films as Criterion Blu-Rays. I need to buy a Blu-Ray player so I can watch them. Does any one know which player would be best for me to get, preferably a cheap one? I find all the region stuff very confusing and have no idea which blue-ray player will be compatible. I would like to play my A24 Blu-rays on the machine I buy too.
