Any actually good “disturbing” films?

I hate to sound like an edgelord but I am a big fan of extreme cinema, though my knowledge of that and practically every other genre is very limited and i would love to expand my horizons!! I really wanted to enjoy something like “august underground” but genuinely those films are just plain bad 😭. Are there any good extreme cinema films i should check out?

(EDIT: i have seen every david lynch film and i am a huge fan, i’ve seen martyrs and hated it and salo which i liked! PLEASE GIVE ME MORE NICHE PICKS!)
