Is this the right career for me?

I am 6 months into the job and I already messed up many times , the issue I always face is I tend to forget the small details and mess up , to give some examples.

1, did not remove certain debug statements while pushing

2, spelling mistakes in the comments

3, forgot to make a branch for the task and started doing changes in the main branch

4,forgot to add regression notes and mark the request as ready to review

5, forgot to remove the code that caused the error for several others

6, did not follow the code convention in a couple of places

I did them all in a single day and it's not a one off day either this is a repeated occurrence and at times I feel like I am letting my team down

I tend to forget things all my life but until now nothing really came of it I managed average grades but now it seems like every day is a battle

I tried to make check-lists for every thing but you can only make so many lists before you loose track of them too I really love this career where I can figure things out day in and day out but I am worried that these little things add up and get me fired How can I improve from here

or What other career can I pursue of this one isn't for for me( keep in mind that I already have a computer degree) Thanks for reading hope you have a good day
