Question Regarding Degree Options and Career

First, thank you all who give good feedback.

TLDR: My main question is: I am fully planning on getting a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Is there any reason it is beneficial for me to take an associate's degree detour on my way to a bachelor's? Or should I just go straight for the bachelor's degree? Also would Computer Science employers be willing to hire an employee who has not yet complete a bachelor's degree but is currently working on the degree? For a brief background: having talked to individuals working for the government and/or government contractors is the route I want to take for at least my early career. Would I likely be able to find jobs that will give me quality experience with just an associate's degree?

I am currently in the process of taking classes at a local community college with hopes of transferring to a 4 year institution in approximately 2 years. I am currently working full time, so school is definitely part time currently.

My issue is the fact that when I transfer to the 4 year institute, I intend to be a full time student likely for ~2 years. This is an issue because I will have to quit my current line of work completely, taking a significant hit to my income. This is fine, I am pretty frugal generally and will be able to pay for living expenses on part time income.

With that background knowledge, I started considering the option what my part time work could look like. I know that getting real work experience is huge in Computer Science. So my question became: what kinds of jobs could I get with an associates degree? And would it be worth it to work full time in such a job while finishing a bachelor's or maybe a master's degree?
