Blue Line to O’Hare

Hi all, I grew up in Chicago and have been away for a decade now. As a city kid I took public transportation regularly, but I’m shocked to see the amount of negative news in this sub, particularly the recent incident on the blue line. I’m heading back home this week to spend time with my fam and I plan to take cta everywhere. I will also be heading to O’Hare later this week to catch my flight. I know I can always uber, but for me there’s a blend of nostalgia and ease of use when taking public transportation. Has it really gotten that bad?
