Lost and confused

So I fell for the “getting into cyber security is sooooooo easy! Just take some certs and you’ll be rich rich!!”

Pathetic, I know. I’m not the best at anything other than art and that’s not a career path I trust too much. I have 3 more classes till I’m done with the cyber security program at my local college, BUT I haven’t taken any actual certs. Each class I pass, my school gives us a 3 month voucher in order to take the certs.

I’ve been psyching myself out, and since I have no experience whatsoever in tech, I haven’t really grasped anything in any of the classes I’ve taken. Each class is about 3-4 months and to me that’s really fast paced. It’s really getting to me that I’ve “gone this far” with nothing to show for it. School has never been my strong suit, and in the past I’ve tried other career paths, went to school, and would drop out, or fail and never end up trying again.

I really want to finish something in life And my family is helping me financially with this program so me staying in this program is the only option.

I really need some motivational words (roast me) so I won’t slip into depression. And also if anyone has a very… descriptive… roadmap for dummies guide, that would really help too.
