Bad news - delayed

Due to a third party, instead of shipping soon and being available in early January, we have to ship it so it will be available late Jan/Early Feb, and due to how things work, it probably will have rolling periods of unavailability until late Feb.

However, I have some very awesome news....

Alongside the Wolf EDG, we have been secretly developing the CAT EDG; yes, that is right. We already have an RMSc version, and it will hopefully be available shortly after the Wolf EDG.

The CAT EDG will also...

have PowerGlass™ for professional and carry users, extending battery life passively when not being used for extra max brightness with minimal extra window tint to offset the smaller CR1620 battery

have our patented drop proof housing and a conservative drop proof rating of 6' on 35oz guns onto Concrete

I have seen more enclosed competitors coming to market at good prices and even featuring multi-reticle and I just have no idea what the hell is going on... It seems the generous and once optimistic battery life ratings, which all optic companies have been forced to engage in quoting instead of more realistic numbers, have given carte blanche for power-hungry emitters to be hot-rodded onto ever-smaller growing batteries. Seriously, be careful what you buy, guys; if there is something that before wasn't really an issue, it seems the actual battery life in use is getting to the point where 50k hours means anywhere from 6 to 3 months of actual battery...

I have to absolutely wonder how bad some of these optics they absolutely refuse to release in red due to battery life would be when a company is ok with customers getting 2-3 months of battery life quoted on a "50k hour" optic with a solar panel on it...

"B-b-BuT pRoVeN" 🥴

ok.....

Anyway, when we make optics, we shoot for them to last a minimum of about a year for all but the most active users. These enclosed optics despite having a CR1620 with nearly half the energy of a CR1632 are nowhere near the lowest battery life optics we make, and our PowerGlass™ is doing nothing but helping them last longer AND get brighter when you absolutely need it. The green version will be an absolute beast with that green emitter we took over a year to develop in both insane EXTRA brightness and boasting 2x battery life vs red, which will now also get a significant boost. I fully expect the green version's battery to last 2 if not 3+ years in real-life applications.

Anyway, I will spill some more details on the Wolf EDG. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the frame is the thinnest drop-proof rated frame we have made, and it should rival the Cobra for durability, which is again conservatively rated and a beast.

Wolf EDG vs MPS

the Wolf EDG will have a 7.5mm deck height, that is thin enough to get some of a co-witness with Glock OEM iron sights(direct slide cut only not MOS)

I don't have exact measurements, but the front lipsticks out about 2mm; like most of our optics, there is a slight taper.

It will have new buttons with texture for tactile use, and brand new adjustments, these are just progression on feedback we have been hearing, they may work themselves into other more budget units over time I don't have all the details and we will just have to see. From my use of prototypes, they are very stiff and thus provide ample "feel" when moving between clicks.

I want to remind people as we make more feature-rich and premium optics, we are doing what we have always done since the beginning of the company, which is to provide the best product at our chosen price point. I believe the single dot versions of both the Wolf EDG and CAT EDG will be the best optics on the market and the green versions will be 2 steps beyond that. That is why we took a year + to develop the reticle, and YES, we are working on a green multi-reticle...

The price will be under $300.
