What are your least favorite plot points/twists in Danganronpa? I'll go first.

The killer is... you!!!111

Pretty much the entirety of the 2-3 trial. It really ruined what could've been an awesome chapter. Making someone revert into a Remnant of Despair is an interesting concept, but the execution was horrible. Mikan gets turned evil against her will and then executed for being turned evil? Make it make sense. Also, the crime itself was very rushed and poorly written. Hiyoko was killed by Mikan. How? I dunno. She just was. Apparently. In the first trial, Hajime refuses to end the case until the murder weapon was established, which is part of how Teruteru was caught. We don't even GET a murder weapon for this case! Unbelievable. It's like they spent all their time writing the hospital stuff, Fuyuhiko's redemption and Nekomaru's half-death, but wrote the trial in the last minute. It hurts even more considering Hiyoko's redemption was set up in this chapter during Ibuki's performance and after Mahiru's death, but then it just leads to nothing! Hiyoko and Fuyuhiko are very similar characters in this game, and I think the writers just didn't know which one they should spare. Personally, they should've just killed off Kazuichi in this chapter or in some other part of the game and spared both Hiyoko and Fuyuhiko. Kazuichi never does anything, except for inventing that camera stuff.

EVERYONE LIVES!!!!111

The revival of the 77th class in Danganronpa 2/3. Personally, it's just lazy writing. Hajime uses his Mary Sue Hope powers to revive everyone and revert them from being Remnants of Despair! How?! With hope!!!!!11 In my opinion, all of them should've stayed dead. It ruins all the deaths from the second game, because why should I care about any of that if they're all gonna get magically revived because Kodaka said so?

Kyoko in Danganronpa 3

Though I'm glad she survived, I think she could've been written better. Reviving everyone from Danganronpa 2 and then Kyoko was just fan-service.

Ultimate Real Fiction

You ever read those Pokemon creepypastas where Ash was actually in a coma and none of it was real? It really ruins the fun of the franchise doesn't it? Well, what if one of those bad fan-made creepypastas were actually canon? That's Danganronpa V3 Chapter 6. This is the same as Reviving the 77th Class, if not worse. Why should I care about ANYTHING that happened in this game if none of it was real? And you could argue that it's not fully explained and that it's left up to interpretation, but why should I care about the ending of this game if the writers of the game don't even have an idea of what the ending is?! Why do I have to make up my interpretation of the ending in a game about finding the truth and exposing lies?! That goes against the entire point of the game!!! If I'm supposed to reveal the truth and expose the lies, why don't I get to do that at the very end of the game?! At the most important part of the game?! How am I supposed to enjoy this ending if I don't even know what just happened?!!?!??!?!
