So i bought this after playingg ER.

I just finished with my 2 playthroughs on ER and decided to buy DS3(might try all the souls like since im enjoying the challenge of it.) Elden ring was my first souls game. So I have a few questions hoping I don't get spoiled on some of it.

Is ds3 and er pretty much similar? Like all the builds are viable? Some say quality in ER isnt good as in DS3 and I always play melee build(Sword/Shield, Greatsword or Colossal)

How is the parrying here compared to ER? I would say im kinda like in average(not good not bad) when it comes to parrying in ER?

Statwise? Is it good if I say level up the vigor to maybe 25 before going for damage stats? Because in ER I always level up vigor to 40 first and then endurance to 30ish then go for damage stats.
