Need some help with a 4TB Seagate hard drive ST4000DM000
Hello everyone,I'm trying to recover data from a 4TB Seagate hard drive which originally came installed in a Seagate Central NAS. To begin the recovery process, I disassembled the Seagate Central and removed the hard drive.
Upon powering up the hard drive, I notice that the disk begins to spin, but shortly after, it emits two clicking sounds and then falls silent. You can see exactly what I'm experiencing in the video linked below:

As you can see in the picture under, when I attempt to connect the hard drive to my computer, it fails to mount correctly. The displayed capacity is only 4.1GB, significantly smaller than the expected 4TB. (In R-Linux, the disk size is listed as 3.86GB.)
Attached below are some of the details provided by R-Linux:
After some research, I came across suggestions that this issue might stem from a firmware problem on the circuit board.
I'm reaching out to this community to see if anyone has encountered a similar problem or has expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues like this. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
