Starting to loathe the idea of going to LV

I’ve got tickets for the sphere for two nights for me, my wife and daughter. Only costed $2000. Booked a hotel. Haven’t got a flight yet because the prices are high and they don’t seem to be dropping. What normally costs $400 for three round trip tickets is somehow costing $1200! And I’m holding off thinking they will drop in price.

And now everyone I am talking to about LV is telling me how expensive it is to eat there. I’m not interested in gambling so that won’t happen.

I just had a coworker in my office. Her brother is in LV right now. And he makes good money. And he is absolutely hating how expensive it is to eat pretty much anywhere. I mean a buffet is $75 per meal!! 15$ for a beer or coffee.

And then there is the east to west coast time change. Something I didn’t think about when I bought my tickets. But since I have sleep apnea it’s not easy for me to just “adjust” 3-4 hours of my sleep pattern.

Anyways, I should be looking forward to this. I’m not a negative person. I was on vacation in Florida a few months ago and loved it. I’m going on my fifth white water rafting trip in WV in July and cannot wait. But this LV trip, I’m having second thoughts, just thinking about it costs more money, and lately I can’t seem to get excited about it.

Happy the boys are doing more shows. But maybe it’s time to cancel the hotel and hope I can sell my tix on stub hub while there is still time. Hell even if I can’t sell my tix I would still be better off taking a $2000 loss than a “only a god would know” cost.
