Creative Feedback

I'm making an elaborate DBD artwork with all of the killers in a cuphead rubber hose cartoon style. I added some pictures for a little teaser. I've done all of the characters but now I need to start the background so I can add them all together. I don't play the game at all, and while I've done plenty of research, it would help getting some feedback from some fans about what should be included.

I like the idea of dividing up the background into separate locations and maps but since there are so many, it would look way too chaotic. Maybe I could do 5-6 "lands". Which ones would be a priority? I was thinking a neighborhood could work well for Freddy, Michael Myers, Ghost face etc. Maybe a forest, a farm, a factory type building?

Also I think details would help tie the separate areas together nicely. Cop car, meat hooks, pallets... What objects do I need to include and where would it look best if applicable?

Any advice is appreciated. I'll post again when it's finished.
