People who hate Delhi should realise that it's very accepting of people from other parts of the country. Isn't that so?
I have stayed in different cities all my life, I was born and raised in Delhi so i don't have an outsider's view regarding Delhi but basically whenever I move to a different city, people just instantly hate me. I seriously had no idea that people hate Delhites this much.
I stayed in Bangalore where I was "begger" coming from poor North India to steal our jobs while I earned more than the combined salary of my 10 teammates from South India, they used to constantly harrass me for being from Delhi straight on my face, a woman in my team told me "You're this white because your ancestors let British people f*ck your grandmothers", we are the real Indian skin people. Reported this to HR but surprise surprise, she turned out to be from Karnataka and they talked for 10 minutes in Kannada and the matter was resolved from their end. Idk what they even said.
I stayed in Pune and Mumbai but i had no idea they would impose Marathi like Bangalore imposes Kannada. I was tired of being treated as a 3rd grade citizen in my own country when I'm praying tax in their city. This life of being insulted is pathetic.
People in other parts of India think that Delhi, UP and Bihar is the same. You get called "gutka", " labour" and all that shit.
Delhi as far as I know is accepting of people from other parts of the country. Delhi people are racists but usually they don't do that on your face. No discrimination from Autowaalas, Cabs or whatever. People are more accepting here.
What do you all think about it? I'm open to constructive criticism. I may be wrong but I'm willing to learn.
