Goblins Together Strong: another follow-up poll on community direction
IMPORTANT EDIT We had to tweak the survey to prevent skewed results from people potentially selecting the same option for 1st, 2nd, etc choices. For the 61 of you who already voted please edit your response. If not I will do my best to manually account for it, but zero promises
Before we get started, I'd like to announce that we are joining up with DnDNext and a variety of the other RPG subs on https://ttrpg.network a Lemmy instance dedicated to Tabletop RPGs. We're getting things set up still, but please feel free to join us there, where there are significantly less goblins.
What is happening?
We've had a strong first day in goblin mode. However there were some concerns brought up about the polling method, and we want to make sure the will of the community is fully represented.
How do I vote?
Differing slightly from our previous polling method, this vote will be conducted through ranked choice voting via Google Forms. All options must be selected in order of preference.
Voting is limited to one response but you may edit your choices until the poll is closed. The link to the form will be found at the end of this post.
What are my options?
The polling options are as follows:
Stay the course: stay NSFW and only maintaining goblin/kobold memes.
Remove Goblin Mode, but stay NSFW. Important note, there is a non-zero chance that extended periods of being in NSFW will get the mod team booted, we as a mod team have deemed that risk acceptable, but want to acknowledge it publicly.
Keep Goblin Mode, but drop our NSFW status (policing nudity much more heavily). This brought up concerns to it's efficacy as a protest method
Return the sub to normal operation but begin a continuing protest by restricting the subs one day each week on "Touch Grass Tuesdays". The sub will operate normally with all former rules reinstated, however, beginning next Tuesday, return to restricted (all posts still viewable) for 24 hours each week to protest Reddit's treatment towards 3rd Party App developers and lack of adequate accessibility for disabled users.
Return the subs to normal operation, remove all posting restrictions and reinstate all former rules. Further polls may go out if new ideas or events arise.
Voting will run through this time tomorrow
