Anyone else anti-Solas?

I find social media is flooded with Solas fanatics (usually simping over the egg-headed weirdo), but I rarely see anyone actively talking about him and what he truly is/represents.

Solas is a villain. Like, he's a bad dude. Sure it's not black and white in the sense that he's some chaotic evil deity that wants to slaughter people for the sake of power, but his self-righteousness, lack of consideration for others and their views, and his belief that the ends justify the means no matter how many innocents might be caught in the crossfire, have really set him up to be a great villain.

But that's just it. He's set up to be a villain. I want to stop him, not befriend him. Anyone else feel this way about his character?

Don't get me wrong, I don't HATE the character in the sense that I wish he didn't exist in the game – he's a brilliant character. But he's brilliant to me purely because I detest him so much haha.
