Add typing language to (older/OG) dumb phones

Is there a way to add languages to older dumbphones?

I've tried a Sone Ericsson k800i, but it doesnt have æ, ø, and å.. My Nokia N95 also doesn't have Norwegian as standard, so the predictive text word list doesn't work without me correcting it a lot.

I'd also mine to know if it would be possible with an older phone, such as 3310.
