Did the writers forget Lauren and Annie are sisters?

Like, I'm not expecting much....But at least an acknowledgement would be nice!

But Linda's been drunk off her tits for months now, putting both Ollie and Annie at risk. Lauren, as an alcoholic, knows how dangerous it is, and hasn't done anything to protect her sister!
