Long range commute, EV

Hello, I have a bit of a general question and NOT regarding specific purchase of the iX. I have been using a phev for a while and thinking of transition to a fully electric for my work commute . I have 110km distance to work mostly motorway (70 miles) so it's 220km everyday (140 miles) which is quite a lot and I am considering buying bmw ix50 or 60. Currently on my PHEV all the work travel is done on fuel and daily activities done on battery.

My question is regarding such a high degree of milage on a car that I would plan on keeping for 3ish years, naturally I would have to charge it several times a week and my understanding is that it would really impact the batteries long term capacity. Is it a bad idea to buy an electric vehicle for so much milage? I am worried that the second hand value would be more depreciated than an ICE vehicle since maybe the battery would have lost quite a lot of capacity during 3 years?

It's a very general question and I would also appreciate if someone has experience with long range daily commute with an EV and is willing to share.
