supplies for coffee table?

Hi 👋🏻 I have never worked with epoxy before & I’m planning on painting my coffee table & finishing it with an epoxy resin. I’m wondering what type of paint I should use. Acrylic? Any recommendations for the type of epoxy I should use would also be helpful! Thank you!
