DeLonghi Stilosa vs. ECP3630
I have the ability to get a Stilosa for $55 or ECP3630 for $95. I know the latter is a more premium option but after reading multiple articles and reviewing the specs, it seems they’re very similar, aside from the following -
- Stilosa steams more automatically, whereas 3630 is a more manual process that may require a learning period. 3630 also microfoams
- 3630 has stainless steel body (but both have SS boilers)
- Stilosa shuts off automatically - I do like this feature as my boss’ just crapped out, seemingly from accidentally leaving the 3420 on the “steam” function (it was old but lightly used, possibly not properly cleaned though)
- Stilosa has 1 year warranty vs. 3 year for the latter
- 3630 stops brewing whereas Stilosa will keep going
Personally I like the idea of spending less with the Stilosa and that it automatically shuts off, but also really like the longer warranty of the 3630 and that it automatically stops brewing. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance!
