Breville Dual Boiler Err2 Purchase

I have the opportunity to purchase a BDB for really cheap (sub $200) because the owner doesn’t want to troubleshoot the Err2 code. Is it worth it? How much money could I end up sinking into the machine in the worst case scenario?
