I need help

I am really good at earning money in this game but I don't know how armies work. How does combat width works? İs it same with hoi4? How many canons do I need in an army? Like every time which nation I play mu armies alway weaker. İs there ant good guides and should I change my army for every nation I play? Can u pls help? (İmage is from Google)
