"Islamic countries don't represent Islam"

I've heard that many times from Muslims living in secular or majority Christian countries and it is really frustrating because they refuse to see the truth of the situation and it's Like bro if Islamic countries don't represent Islam, then who does? Muslims who live comfortably in the West and ignore the problems suffered by their brothers in countries with an Islamic majority?? A clear example is Afghanistan, many Muslims simply ignore it and others say vague excuses like "That's not real Islam" but ironically Saudi Arabia (the reference country in the Muslim world) showed its support for the Taliban and their government.
