Travel after graduation?

I'll be graduating this December and I have my ead with start date in Feb 2025. I booked tickets home planning to travel from December till Jan. Currently, my return is scheduled on 19th Jan.

I talked to my international advisor and they said I have all the documents needed to return.

Considering the recent posts of lawyers recommending everyone to be back before 20th, would it be wise for me to travel? I'm open to all sorts of thoughts.

I know I'm returning by 20th but I'm paranoid. Imagine working 3 years to finally start getting the return on investment. It would be so dumb if something went wrong.
