Navigating Venture Capital as an International student

Hi everyone!

I’m a 24-year-old woman who came to the U.S. on an F1 visa. I completed my undergrad in Business and Computer Science from a no-name school and am fortunate enough to be working in Venture Capital on OPT.

For those of you who have gone through a similar journey:

• How did you manage visa sponsorship while working in VC?
• Are there alternative routes I should consider (e.g., grad school, H1B transfers, O-1 visas)?
• What does the future look like for international professionals in VC in the U.S.?
