I’m thinking of buying ACOTAR but will regret it.

Hi all! So I’m new to the romantsy genre and have recently read and re-read The Empyrean Series and I loved it! It’s made me crave for more romantsy books and made me love books again!

I have bought Quicksilver and The Serpent of the Wings of Night, haven’t read them yet but heard good things about them purely because of the synopsis. I will get round to it after Onyx Storm release on the 21st!

I’ve looked into ACOTAR and heard many good and bad things about it. Also that it’s very beauty and beast storyline what does that mean? I also heard good things about the later books that are even better with loads of spice which I crave!

I also looked into the writing style, would you say SJM has a similar writing style to RY? Or is it different?

Would ACOTAR be something that I would potentially like and not regret? Or is it one of those books where I have to power through it to get to the good books later on?

If anyone can help me with this dilemma it would be amazing and if someone could give me a brief overview of what it is really about without giving away to much spoilers? Thank you 🙏🏻
