Best State To Farm In The US?

Hi all! I currently live in California and eventually looking to move out of this expensive state and start a farm.

I want horses, cows, ducks, goats, possibly alpaca and sheep as well. Along with good soil/weather for gardening. Growing many plants, trees, vegetables and what not.

I hate extreme heat and have been trying to research a lot on what states fit my desires. But it's so difficult! I thought i'd reach out to you guys and see where you guys have had the most success farming?

I've been looking into Nebraska and Colorado areas. What states have the happiest animals and plants with decent temperatures? haha
