What's your point in all this? Your goal?

I'm a casual console user, and I've hit a mental road block after about 6 months in. After learning the mechanics, I would give myself goals, like "make a million dollars", or "let's get that one tractor I like", or, "make a grape empire" etc etc. Fun at first. But I keep hitting walls. I keep going back to grain because its relaxing. My "go-to" now is to farm what I like and use greenhouses to print money to sustain the farming. But pallets become a chore. Going to get water is a chore. Going to market is a chore. I think I'm failing to see the point.
