Need something close to old school incandescent that’s super simple to use.
(Picture for something to look at. My Acebeam Terminator M2-X with Etsy 3D printed, glow-in-the-dark, lens cover. Attached to the lanyard loop with some bankline. Fits my hand perfectly to “hold” the flashlight on my hand without the use of my fingers. Eh, I should do a follow-up post with beam shots.)
I’m looking for a super simple flashlight for the lady. She likes old school and easy. She would have an old school plastic D-cell incandescent in an ideal world, but we have to utilize the new technology. New flashlights are smaller, brighter, and rechargeable. I’m sure she would think a small to medium sized mag lite would be awesome, but I feel like they’re just not where it’s at. She hates the modern white LED color.
I’m looking for a light that is: - as close to an incandescent color of light possible - bright but not ridiculously so - very easy to use UI (click on, click off would be awesome) - variable light levels are optional - use case would be general household tasks, power outages, camping trips
