Its an unfortunate side effect of AMD Advantage and used in most AMD-powered laptops. The "fix" is to yank it in favor of an $18 Intel AX210 non-vPro module or a Qualcomm QCNCM865 wifi 7 module (pulled off an MSI Herald BE desktop carrier - Qualcomm doesn't do retail sales). Intel BE200, AX211, anything "with vPro" is not AMD compatible. Get an AX210 from Framework, Amazon, pretty much anywhere else (in the m2 2230 form factor).

Thanks! Looking through benchmarks for 155H and 7840U, I am leaning towards AMD, however like most outlets it doesn't seem to compare the 125H and 7640U cpus.

(apart from the killed cpu) When I replaced my fans for the 2th time there was a burn mark on the cpu die and I can't get it to lower it's discharge rate below 31w.
