Visiting frankfurt in April

Hello, I'm visiting frankfurt for a couple of days and I was wandering if someone could recommend me some good areas to find a hotel to stay at(cause I read many comments about how most places are pretty dangerous) and some affordable places to eat as well as what should I maybe order while I'm there.
