Threw in some dead thistle from last year on bottom of raised bed, am i screwed?

So without even thinking, I was trying to find what i had around to fill up my garden bed and. Remembered I had some old thistle I cut out last year as there were giant stalks in my back yard when I moved in, once i cut it out I put it in a trashcan in my shed and forgot about it until now. It wasnt until I put a bunch of stuff on top of it that i realised i could have accidentally created a thistle garden by accident, is there anh chance nothing grows from all that dead stuff?
