Children's PC Games at the Public Library

How did you used to experience Children's PC games at your local library? From Living Books to Reader Rabbit. From Putt-Putt to JumpStart.

When I was a kid, the library tech nerds from where I live are smart enough to rip entire games from CD-ROMs to hard drives, so they don't have to run a game from a CD-ROM. Had your local libraries done the same thing, or did they have CDs to lend from a librarian to run games?
