Understand the Dom perspective.

Hey there so I was thinking about it and I don't really understand the Dom perspective of femdom. What is it that is draws a Dom to this. Is it the control? Is it receiving the attention from your sub? Is it a feeling of ownership? Or have I totally misunderstood the whole dynamic.

I know everyone is going to have their own views and understanding but I'm looking for a consensus. So I would love to here your perspective both Dom and Sub.
