How do you do it working full time?

I’m 24 years old working full time, 10 hours a day 5 days a week. I’ve grown up with German shepherds there was never a time we didn’t have at least one. They are by far my favourite breed and would love to get one of my own, I live on my own but don’t think I can do it working that much.

I come home everyday for an hour at lunch but still feels wrong to me leaving a dog alone that much during the week. I’m wondering how everyone else that makes it work? Obviously we all have work to go to and lots of people make it work and I’m looking for some tips or advice. As much as I want one right now I want to give it the best life possible and if that means waiting I have no problem with that, my parents have 3 Shepard’s so I can get my fix in on the weekends but still not my own
