How the hell do you date here

I just moved here (22M) for grad school. Been trying to integrate myself into the community through events and such with mixed results. MeetUp seems alright and I’m going to some events soon, but that tends to skew towards an older crowd.

I ran out of people to swipe on in the apps in just 3 days which seems kinda insane considering this is a pretty populous area? How do people meet other young people here? Don’t exactly feel like spending the next 18 months cold approaching a bunch of people.
