Ethan making fun of people boycotting companies that are complicit in the ongoing Genocide
I was watching a video about the Freudian slip that happens when people start condemning nonviolent and effective forms of protest, like boycotts, which challenge systems without harm.
I remembered Ethan (and I wish I had the clip please somebody find it) talking about how funny it is that people are boycotting Starbucks and how dumb it is. I remember finding this funny because surely there is no reason as to why this would challenge your standing as it pertains to the genocide, because after all you want the ‘war’ to end but not through violent means?
It really did raise the question for me as to how pro-Palestinian somebody like Ethan really is if you find the most nonviolent form of action a laughable pursuit, despite its proven effectiveness.
