Electrical Devices

What is your opinion about the electrical devices in Harry Potter. I find it so good how JK solved a big problem, by only saying: if electrical devices are near of magic, they just broke and are not functional anymore. Because some crazy scientist could just say: yeah let’s combine todays technology with magic. What could possibly go wrong. And in the end., it falls in the hand of some dark wizards.

So what’s your opinion. Did she solved it well or would you change something, to create more things
